Automobiles in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Report

Authorities reported they were alerted by a individual who found a car in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Roughly 50 automobiles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau near Frankfurt, police confirm authorities.

Vehicles, walls and postal boxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement say they were contacted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a man discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued liquid.

The liquid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they stated.

Law enforcement then located multiple other vandalized cars and building exteriors in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Police say preliminary tests show the substance was probably human blood.

"There is still no lead as to where it came from; authorities are currently not cognizant of any harm in association with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to unravel the mystery" and have asked to the public for information.

An important representative commented the attack made him stunned and required to be resolved promptly.

"This act hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing violent incident half a decade ago," he wrote on social media, recalling the death of nine victims by a assailant aiming at individuals of migrant background in February 2020.
